The green light in the Chamber for the third month of provisional exercise with 31 votes in favor and 24 against . With one almost certainty: according to the rules, it can take 37 days to bring the Budget to the Chamber, so the recourse to the fourth month is almost inevitable , unless the opposition gives up its ten days for the minority report.
In the Chamber, the Budget Councilor Giuseppe Meloni explained the reasons for the delays: "We decided not to proceed immediately with the Budget to avoid carrying out a technical maneuver that would not be in the interest of the Sardinians, as happened in the past , because then last minute, useless programming choices are made." Meloni emphasized that she "inherited the previous budget, we are trying to meet halfway because the starting point is worrying ."
Then she launched an appeal to the minority: «Political dialectics are fine, but I hope that you are the first to have the interests of the Sardinians at heart». For Meloni 37 days are more than enough, it is the appeal «to hurry» .
In his voting declarations, the FdI group leader Paolo Truzzu said that « the budget is not entering the Chamber for a political reason, not a technical one, for an irresponsible whim of the president of the Region ». In turn, he launched an appeal to Meloni: « Take away the 30 million for the merger of the airports and give them to the Municipalities, increase the single fund ». Umberto Ticca of the Reformers asked the assessor not to shift the attention to the minority: «The responsibility for the approval times lies with those who put something else before the budget» .
The chairman of the Budget Committee Alessandro Solinas (M5S) said: «It is clear that we are taking on a political responsibility, but with adequate justifications».
