The poet and writer Biagio Arixi died in San Sperate: he was 80 years old. Born in Villasor in 1943, he lived and worked for a long time in Rome, before settling in the country of murals.
«From his pen many fairy tales and novels came to life which led him to be known internationally», is the memory of the Sansperatina administration.
Among his many experiences, which led him to explore the world driven by his innate curiosity, was the one he lived for a few years in New York where he attended the Actors Studio.
His work, his passion, the Municipality recalls, «led him to meet and interact with famous personalities from the world of culture and entertainment in general. Natural talent, with a great propensity for relationships with people, he was able to weave deep friendships both with the great stars of cinema and television and with all the people he met in his life. So it was with the Sansperatina community."
The funeral home was set up in the funeral home in via Monastir 113/115 in San Sperate.
