GOL internships for the unemployed are underway: «Opportunities for businesses too»

«An opportunity for the unemployed and for companies in Sardinia».
This is what the regional councillor for Labour Desirè Manca said when presenting the internships provided for by the GOL (Guarantee of Employability of Workers) programme promoted by Aspal.
The activation of the courses is scheduled to start today, Wednesday 16 April, through the Sardegnalavoro.it platform.
"The internships - explains Manca - are aimed at all unemployed adults who are resident or domiciled in Sardinia and represent an important opportunity for both the worker and the company : on the one hand, they allow the unemployed, especially the younger ones, to gain experience in the world of work and to acquire technical and transversal skills; on the other, through the activation of the internship , companies have the opportunity to train new qualified personnel and thus respond to the ever-increasing need for specialized figures, especially in some areas in which research is very complex today".
The internship - explains the Region - lasts 3 months and provides a monthly allowance of 500 euros, financed by the Gol Program . All interested parties who have already identified a host company can start the online procedure to activate the internship, alternatively it is possible to contact the Employment Centers to receive assistance in finding a match. Activations will be allowed until October 1, 2025.
