"Twinned" with the exhibition hosted in the National Art Gallery of Sassari , the exhibition on the ground floor in the Sassari headquarters of the Sardinia Foundation offers 22 works by Giuseppe Biasi , in various formats, almost all in oils, although there is no shortage of small tempera paintings. The exhibition is free.

They are paintings created between the end of the first decade of the 20th century and the 1930s . Twelve works have an African theme, especially female nudes, but also musicians, among the Sassari-born artist's favorite subjects.

Ten works are dedicated to Sardinia : the Corpus Domini procession, Women dancing, a woman washing clothes in the well, a landscape with horses, just to name a few.

The works of the Sardinia Foundation contribute to turning the spotlight back on one of the greatest Italian artists of the 20th century.
