"Why don't you come with me on a part of the Camino de Santiago?" A point-blank question that soon turns into the realization of a dream for Giuliana Exana, blind, switchboard operator at the Municipality of Sinnai, who at the end of July, together with her sister, her brother-in-law and another friend flew to Spain to walk the Way that leads to Compostela (in Galicia). A unique adventure, full of a thousand meanings and emotions for the sunny and brilliant woman, who in her first experience on one of the most famous paths in the world, frequented by both religious pilgrims and those who are discovering themselves, was supported and also sponsored by Studio Tossani.

«It was a very strong experience», the woman on the other end of the phone is moved, she and her friends returned home on Tuesday evening. They had been in Spain since July 23rd. «An unforgettable adventure for me, I put myself on the line. I have reached my goal, with all the difficulties that there have been. The route is feasible, unfortunately, however, I must say that hostels are not always suitable, luckily, however, I have a great spirit of adaptation and with the help of my group, everything was easier».

Giuly, as everyone calls her, is ready, however, to leave again next year. The uniqueness of the 'Camino' derives precisely from the route, made up of stages in which joys and hardships are shared with friends and strangers, new relationships are intertwined and you get involved with your backpack. «This time we have done the English way, next time he will want to do another and then another. The Portuguese one inspires me a lot, but also the French one».

Enthusiasm and willpower are not lacking, the woman, after this experience, thus launches a message to those who, like her, live with visual impairment every day: «Not seeing is an unpleasant condition, but I am absolutely convinced that if the strength and above all the tools to deal with this condition you can do everything. A blind person can tackle the Way. Of course, you don't need to improvise or go on the wrong way, but with a good guide and an expert by your side, anything is possible. Fundamental in our six long stages was the white lace that united us along the way, making us feel as one and giving me the necessary confidence to face it without fear».

Step by step, a dream thus became a reality, thanks above all to Danilo Palmas, a veteran of the Camino de Santiago and the common thread for the whole group on this journey full of emotions and unforgettable moments.

«I did it for the first time six years ago, I had no idea what it was, but now who stops anymore», smiles Palmas, «it was me, knowing this desire of hers, who proposed the Camino to Giuliana, its eyes when he told me "yes it's fine", they shone with happiness. Today I am tired, but happy».

Oh yes, because the English route is made up of six stages and is about 150 kilometers long, even if around 120 are counted in the maps. And it is always thanks to Danilo that he entered the game, on tiptoe and with discretion, even the Tossani Studio.

«Everything was born naturally thanks to my long and deep friendship with Luigi Cappai, the manager of the Cagliari office of the Firm. I asked him to sponsor us the clothing and he didn't hesitate to say yes. So in a short time he provided us with all the equipment. We made a great impression, all four equal and unmistakable. Beyond the logo, the writing "To Santiago for Giuly" intrigued the others. It was wonderful".
