The town of Castelsardo is preparing to host the Giro di Sardegna . On Wednesday, February 25th, the tourist village will not only be one of the five stages of the eagerly awaited event, but also the beating heart of its kickoff.

The return of the historic event after 15 years is a milestone made possible by the commitment of the Region, the Department of Tourism, and the Department of Sport. In this context of sporting resurgence and synergy with the Region, Castelsardo confirms its position as a premier venue, chosen as the official starting point for this prestigious international challenge.
Inaugurating the competition means showcasing the beauty of the village and the surrounding area on a global stage. High-level sport thus becomes a driving force for promoting the history of the island's enchanting locations and testing the island's hospitality and organizational capabilities.

The meeting point is at 8:30 a.m. in Piazza Nuova on Via Sedini, from where the caravan will depart at 10:15 a.m.

The most evocative moment, however, will be in Multeddu, at the Elephant Rock : it will be right at the foot of this natural monument, a UNESCO heritage site, that the race will officially start, where the ancient strength combines with the momentum of the running athletes.
