Giovanni Allevi updates fans on their health conditions with an Instagram post. The pianist and composer announced in June that he had received a diagnosis of myeloma - a cancer that develops from certain blood cells found in the bone marrow - and that he had to undergo very painful therapy .
"A new music invades my mind in an impetuous way and I do not lose a note - he wrote on social media -. Now it's sweet, now crazy and incomprehensible, dreamy and reflective, metaphysical. I can't wait to let you listen to it! ".
A message to his followers who repeatedly thanked for their support: “The battle has begun that has brought me to the deepest core of human frailty . With you I will win it! ”.
