Giacomo Vardeu: from Orosei to the Feast of the 7 Arts in Rome

There will also be Sardinia at the Festa delle 7 Arti staged tomorrow, Thursday 23 June, from 6 to 9 pm in Rome on the banks of the Tiber for a spectacular creative performance of Music, Dance, Body Painting, Martial Arts, Rhythmic and Artistic Gymnastics that will color the tip of the Tiber Island.

With the patronage of RAI per il Sociale and organized by the Artistic Movement of the 7 Arts, founded by the director and performer Francesca Chialà, for 10 years on the Board of Directors of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and perpetually on the hunt for talents, the festival will combine painting, music , song, dance, poetry, art design, cinema to some sports disciplines conveying the values of environmental sustainability and peace to also remember all the other conflicts still in existence between Syria, Afghanistan and Palestine.

Orosei will represent the island in an exceptional container of art, entertainment, culture and sport with the talent of Giacomo Vardeu , a very young prodigy organ player, a pupil of Giampaolo Piredda in his city and then perfected with Carlo Boeddu in Nuoro.

Today the 16-year-old Oroseino concert artist, who at the same time dedicates himself to the study of the accordion with the maestro Ireneo Massidda, is one of the new interpreters of Sardinian popular music and is on the way to an important artistic career that began a few years ago with his debut at the Festival of Berchidda under the aegis of Paolo Fresu.

The program of the event is rich and full of paintings and exhibitions of great interest but the intervention of Giacomo Vardeu is certainly one of the most anticipated.

During the event, hundreds of children - Ukrainians, Italians and of different nationalities - will paint themselves and the 12 Canvases of Peace stimulated by live music, while 6 Palestinian dancers and 6 Italian dancers from the National Dance Academy will interpret the pièce "Sacré Printemps! Outdoor ”, by Tunisian choreographers Hafiz Dhaud and Aicha M'Barek, recently performed in Ramallah with the Italian Consulate in Jerusalem and the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival.

“12 Tele della Pace - explains the creator Francesca Chialà - because 12 are the Stars of the European flag that represent the ideals of unity, solidarity and harmony among the peoples of Europe”.

The program will be opened by the composer Paolo Vivaldi who will play, on a grand piano, scenographically positioned on the tip of the Tiber Island, some songs from his latest album "Drops", such as the drops of the river that can become tears of pain, joy and love.

Maestro Vivaldi will also duet with the Jazz voice of Cinzia Tedesco who will interpret the universal hymn of John Lennon, “Imagine”.

But symphonic, lyric, jazz, soul, pop music will be mixed with many extraordinary singers and musicians who will generously play in front of the 12 danced and musiced canvases, all moved by a philanthropic and supportive purpose.

The opera singers Isodora Moles and Dragana Moles will interpret Flower Duet from the opera Lakmé by Léo Delibes accompanied on the piano by Gabriele Rubeo.

Different musical styles will be contaminated in an effervescent artistic happening: from the composer Marco Albani, who will perform Freedom from his latest album KALLAAMA, on the fine line between acoustic jazz and World Music, to the Colombian multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Roland Ricaurte with the Argentine percussionist Raul Scebba of the Orchestra of Piazza Vittorio, from soul music, with the powerful voice of Mariagrazia Scordo who will interpret “At Last”, to Piero Tedesco with “Georgia on my mind”.

Again the great film soundtracks interpreted by the ROMAccordion accordion trio and accompanied by Achille Taddeo at the Viola for Ennio Morricone's Nuovo Cinema Paradiso and Astor Piazzolla's Chiquilin de Bachin.

Children will be protagonists again when they paint in a second scene to the rhythm of the zamba, interpreted by the singers Benedetta Piatti, Belen Grattoni with the guitarist Emanuele Schillaci and the double bass player Giordano Panizza, and guided by the melodies of Einaudi and Allevi proposed by the pianist Claudia Troisi.

Francesca Chialà will duet along the 12 canvases with the Chinese performer Jing Paris Artist who will bring her playful masks from Paris and will dialogue with the 13 Georgics of the artist Corrado Veneziano: a recycling operation with old advertising totems long abandoned on the island, recovered by Veneziano and painted with the most evocative phrases of Virgil's Georgics declaiming during the performance.

The armchairs and the colorful hats of the Art Designer Simona Baldacchini, real artistic sculptures that take on different shapes and with which the spectators can play and have fun during the happening, will complete the scenographic preparation of the Party.

Among the many interventions there will be the multifaceted singer-songwriter Andrea Sisti who, accompanied on the guitar by Enrico Cresci, will propose to the public his song "Detainee awaiting trial", which will be followed by the screening of the film "Ariaferma" by Leonardo di Costanzo: the Festa delle 7 Arti is also organized in collaboration with the Isola del Cinema with a fundraiser for the Community of Sant'Egidio in favor of prisoners.

Not only art, even sports with Ukrainian athletes and Italian colleagues from the National Taekwondo Federation who will carry out martial arts demonstrations, followed by Confsport's rhythmic and artistic gymnastics athletes, present at the 7 Arts Festival thanks to the patronage of CONI and " Sport and Health ".

The sports performances will be preceded by the hymn of the National Olympic and Blue Athletes Association of Italy that the composer, conductor and Olympic rowing medalist, Lorenzo Porzio, recently presented as a world premiere at the Ariston in Sanremo, and by another of his compositions entitled the Barcarola, in homage to the Tiber river.

Godmother of the event the singer-songwriter and Paralympic champion Annalisa Minetti who could not miss in a production that combines music, sport and solidarity.

She has the task of performing her latest single “Invincibili”, a text of great emotional impact focused on the courage to overcome one's limits and rediscover oneself, in fact, invincible.
