The tender for territorial maritime continuity on the Cagliari-Arbatax-Civitavecchia section expires on 13 March, and from 22 March it is not possible to book tickets.

The Verdi-Italian Left deputies announced a new question to the government in this regard, emphasizing that it is a question of a "fundamental connection for the development of the territory and for the right to mobility of Sardinians" and that Undersecretary Tullio Ferrante "has not provided sufficient guarantees.

«The government does not take into due consideration the right of Sardinians to take advantage of efficient connections with the rest of the national territory. Not only have the sums allocated to maritime continuity been reduced by 30 million euros, only a three-weekly service has been provided for the connections with Civitavecchia, completely inadequate compared to the market demand, but we risk once again that the connections will skip». Ghirra, recalling that an interruption of the service would be "very serious for Sardinia" and asking for government intervention to guarantee continuity on the section in question.
