George R. Robertson , the Canadian actor famous for playing the iconic Commander Hurst in the American film series " Police Academy, " has died at the age of 89 .

This was communicated to the microphones of the US portal The Hollywood Reporter by the family who did not, however, clarify the causes of death , which occurred in Toronto on January 29th . Robertson's career began , taking its first timid steps, in the 1960s . His debut dates back to 1969 with a small part in Roman Polanski 's film “ Rosemary's Baby - Red Ribbon in New York ”.
