Genoa-Porto Torres, the section awarded to Tirrenia for 25.8 million
The service will be guaranteed for five years
After the announcement made in September, Invitalia - on behalf of Mims - published the award notice in Tirrenia-Cin for the tender for maritime territorial continuity between Genoa and Porto Torres for 5 years (60 months), in the winter period from 1 October to 31 May.
The service is guaranteed 365 days a year with two motor ships (three in the summer with daytime departures). To maintain the connections in the winter season, the state contributes 25.8 million.
In addition to this section, Tirrenia-Cin has already been awarded the Civitavecchia-Olbia connection, but in agreement with GNV and Grimaldi, without charges for the State.
The Palermo-Cagliari-Naples and the Cagliari-Arbatax-Civitavecchia (the latter only for six months until March 2022), have been entrusted to Grimaldi.
