Gaxa starts the sale of methane in Olbia and in other eleven Municipalities of Sardinia

Gaxa, the main supplier of gas and electricity in Sardinia , offers methane and other gas on the network in over 80 Municipalities in the Sardinian territory and, following the acquisition of the Janagas company on June 30th, has extended its sales activity to Municipalities of Olbia, Terralba, Arbus, Santadi, Buddusò, Sedilo, Mandas, Siurgus Donigala, Genoni, Budoni, Simala and Valledoria, becoming the supplier of a further 11,000 Sardinians served with LPG online.
Which Municipalities are involved?
According to the plan communicated by the local distributor Medea , by November 2023 the gas distribution network of these Municipalities will be converted from LPG to methane, giving the possibility to more than 35,000 families to choose methane and save up to 30% of expenses compared to the LPG on the net.
How do you switch to methane?
Switching to methane will be quick and easy . For customers who use LPG on the network, it will be enough to sign the new Gaxa supply contract and proceed with the simple adaptation of the internal system, with the help of an authorized technician. Citizens who do not yet use the gas network will have to request the connection , sign the contract choosing what to use the natural gas for (cooking, heating and/or hot water), and build the methane system with the help of a technician.
By entrusting the work to the technical operator affiliated with Gaxa, the costs of constructing or adapting the system will be borne by Gaxa up to a maximum of 500 euros , including VAT.
