Gaia was forced to cancel her August 20th date in Gonnesa, the penultimate stop on her "Summer 2025" tour . The 27-year-old singer, fresh from her last appearance at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Chiamoo io Chiami Tu," personally announced the decision in a message on social media.

"Honey, my body has decided to play nasty tricks right now, and tomorrow's show in Piazza del Minatore in Gonnesa has unfortunately been canceled," she wrote on Instagram. "I really wanted to do this, and I'm so sorry. I promise I'll be back very soon to properly recover."

The artist, who is very close to the Sardinian public, has thus had to cancel one of the most anticipated evenings of the summer calendar, which concludes on September 13th in Cuneo. For now, the next performance scheduled for August 22nd in Palmi, in the province of Reggio Calabria, remains confirmed.

This isn't the first time Gaia has used social media to share even her most intimate moments with fans. On August 10th, she posted a lengthy rant accompanied by a photo of her tearful eyes, describing a difficult time marked by depression, anxiety, and a sense of emptiness.

"The diabolical trinity has come to visit me," she wrote. "Emptiness, anxiety, and loneliness have taken over like masters, gagging my soul and holding it hostage." These powerful words, born during a train journey from Rome to Milan, interweave personal memories with reflections on the struggles of growing up, between first loves, responsibilities, and the anxiety that accompanies adulthood.

In that post, Gaia also spoke about the “inner child” who simply asks to be seen and accepted, without necessarily having to prove anything or never be a nuisance: an invitation to allow yourself the possibility of being vulnerable.
