Acquitted, because the fact does not exist. The former regional councilors of the Sardinian Reformers in the 14th legislature were acquitted today by the judge for preliminary hearings Michele Contini of the charge of having used for personal purposes the funds intended for the group's activities. Attilio Dedoni, Pietro Fois, Pierpaolo Vargiu and Francesco Meloni were acquitted in the preliminary hearing on the broadest form of the charge of aggravated embezzlement.
The most delicate position was that of the group's president Attilio Dedoni, defended by the lawyer Pierluigi Concas, to whom the prosecution actually also charged the expenses individually sustained by the other councilors for activities deemed non-institutional. The other defendants were assisted by the lawyers Patrizio Rovelli, Marco Lisu and Ignazio Marinaro.

This morning Judge Contini dropped the charges against everyone because the fact does not exist. The public prosecutor Andrea Vacca had also asked for the acquittal because the jurisprudence has changed in part and because through the defense briefs it emerged that there were no crimes.
