In Sardinian distributors, prices hit record levels, much higher than in the rest of Italy. The alarm is raised by Adiconsum Sardegna, which processed the data provided by the Ministry of Economic Development.

On the island, yesterday, "a liter of gasoline in" served "mode reached the record of € 2.229 in a La Maddalena petrol station, while diesel in the same plant is sold for € 2.129 / liter", underlines the 'Association. "For the 'self', the price lists drop to 2,039 for green, 1,954 for diesel".

In Tortolì, another example, “in served mode, petrol costs € 2,219 / liter, diesel fuel costs € 2,079 / liter (€ 2,009 per liter for green 'self')”. And, again, in Lanusei: "Gasoline (served) 2.195 euros per liter (1.979 in self), diesel 2.084 euros (served), 1.859 the self".

But in general, comments the president of Adiconsum Sardegna, Giorgio Vargiu -, throughout the region the fuel prices charged by distributors are significantly higher than the Italian average. Suffice it to say that the national average for petrol in served mode is 2.015 euros per liter, 1.895 euros / liter for diesel. Sardinian citizens are thus doubly penalized, because on the one hand they pay more for fuel supplies, on the other they suffer significant increases in the retail prices of products transported by road, which represent 85% of the goods sold in Italy ".
