The Barumini Link, the integrated transport service that makes it even easier to reach the archaeological heritage of Barumini from the main regional transport hubs, returns for summer 2026. The service will operate from July 1st to September 30th, with the possibility of extension.

The initiative is a collaboration between the Barumini Sistema Cultura Foundation, the Municipality of Barumini, the Regional Directorate of Museums of Sardinia, and Trenitalia, with the aim of promoting accessibility to cultural sites and strengthening connections between the inland areas and the main gateways to the island.

Thanks to the integrated train-bus system, residents and tourists will be able to reach the Su Nuraxi Nuragic complex, Casa Zapata, and the Giovanni Lilliu Center more easily, promoting a sustainable mobility model capable of supporting tourist flows and promoting one of Sardinia's most iconic areas.

The renewal of the service confirms the strategic importance of connection networks for the development of cultural tourism and for the enhancement of the island's historical and archaeological heritage.
