The tangible one named after the historian Antonio Costa, with the documents collected by the Municipality over seven centuries, remains in the Palazzo in via Insinuazione, while the digital Historical Archive of Sassari is online with a redesigned site and a decidedly easier and more intuitive consultation .
The graphic design is new and the contents have been expanded for a broad and inclusive communication that allows you to navigate easily and clearly through the documentary heritage and to always remain informed about the initiatives of the Historical Archive.
Among the sections of the site, the consultation of the databases relating to the main archival collections is of particular importance. Thanks to the updated version of the online consultation software for the preserved archival heritage, it will now be even easier to navigate through the papers. In particular , in the new version there is a "Gallery" which facilitates research within the historical cartography .
A constantly increased section of the site is that which concerns the consultation of the digitized heritage: the Statutes of Sassari, the book of ordinances, the resolutions of the municipal council and a section dedicated to the sources for the history of the gremi and the Candelieri.
