From Stintino to Genoa, a journey to reflect on the different Sardinian migratory experiences. In the Ligurian capital, on November 15th and 16th, the Mei - National Museum of Italian Emigration will hold a new screening of the documentary "Intro e Fora - 11 Sardinian Stories" by Antonio Mannu, broadcast at the Stintino Tonnara Museum in November last year, offering a platform to explore and share the personal narratives of those who have left the island.

The Mut has stood out for the attention paid to the many facets of Sardinian migratory experiences, hosting events that place the voices of those who have undertaken life paths outside Sardinia at the centre.

Through video interviews and photographic images, the documentary offers an intimate perspective on the experiences of those who said goodbye to Sardinia and investigates the changed relationship with the land of origin and the continuous internal dialogue on the sense of identity. The narrative explores how the feeling of belonging can evolve, transform or even disappear in the context of migratory paths. The echo of this event will resonate in Genoa on Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th November, offering an overview of the constantly evolving dialogue between the individual and the socio-cultural contexts in which he moves.
