A new year, new motivations, but the same bloodletting. 2026 will start off on the wrong foot in terms of price increases, which are expected to hit heavily starting in January and are poised to further squeeze the already depleted wallets of Sardinians.
Consumer associations immediately took action against this increase, unanimously criticizing the upcoming price increases as unjustified and likely to further curb consumption, triggering a chain reaction of crisis for businesses.
Much of the blame can be placed on the budget plan, which has unblocked several measures that will certainly weigh on the budgets of families and businesses.
