A talented voice on the European scene, already well-known on the island's stages, makes her long-awaited return to the live scene: this Wednesday , the doors of Old Tipsy in Quartu Sant'Elena will open at 8:30 pm for a live performance by Catalan artist Sandra Bautista , winner of the 2024 Parodi Award . Accompanying the singer-songwriter's voice and strings will be guitarist Bartolomeo Barenghi , in an evening promoted at the venue on Via D'Annunzio 14 by the Gong and Il Formicaio associations.

Singer, musician, and poet born in 1995, Bautista recorded her very first song at the age of seventeen , entirely self-taught and as part of a high school research project: " L'essential " thus brought her to the final eight of a competition on Spanish national radio . This participation would be only the first of many, seeing her in the years to come reach the podium at Iberian festivals, such as the Salitja Song Contest , the Sona9 awards, and the National Young Songwriters Festival of Elche .

But her artistic universe ‒ made of refined melodies, introspective lyrics and an intense interpretative ability , suspended between tradition and modernity and with warm Latin sounds ‒ has also found expression in her recordings, starting from her debut " Trapezista " (2019) and continuing with " Intuir el tigre " (2024), an album financed by crowdfunding and almost entirely self-produced, whose extract " Cartografia " earned her six Andrea Parodi awards , becoming the first winning song to be sung in the Catalan language .
