From Cagliari to Sassari, 11 evenings offered by the Jazz Club Network

From April 23rd to December 11th, eleven bands with an international sound will perform. The lineup for the ninth edition of Jazz Club Network, a prestigious concert series organized by CeDAC, the Multidisciplinary Live Entertainment Circuit in Sardinia, in collaboration with the Il Jazzino Cultural Association, has been launched.
Three venues: the Jazzino Music Club in Cagliari, Il Vecchio Mulino in Sassari, and the Teatro Massimo in Cagliari, will host artists such as Jasper Høiby, Alex Hitchcock and Lorenzo Tucci, Liane Carroll, and the rising star Sultan Stevenson, winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Award. A sonic journey that transcends boundaries, offering a high-profile program that pays homage to the great jazz tradition with the freshest and most daring contemporary explorations.
The series will kick off on April 23rd at 9:45 PM at the Jazzino in Cagliari (with a repeat performance on Friday, April 24th at 8:30 PM at the Vecchio Mulino in Sassari) with "Omaggio a Chet Baker" (Tribute to Chet Baker) performed by the trio consisting of Bebo Ferra on guitar, Salvatore Maiore on double bass, and Luca Aquino on trumpet. This isn't just a celebration, but a profound exploration of the essentiality of phrasing and control of timbre, elements that made the celebrated American trumpeter iconic.
