Great concern in Colombia for Freddy Rincon, former Real Madrid midfielder and captain of the national team. After being involved in an accident in Cali, he underwent an operation that lasted almost two hours and is now on a confidential prognosis.

The former player, now 55 years old and with a season behind him also at Napoli, presented a serious traumatic brain injury. He was driving a van carrying four passengers which collided with a bus.

"El Coloso", this is his nickname, was among the protagonists of the Colombian national team during the 1990 World Cup in Italy.
