Forza Italia launches Nizzi's candidacy: «A model for the government of the Region»

«Olbia represents the party's calling card and the mayor is a model for the government of the Region».
These are the words of Pietro Pittalis, Forza Italia MP but, above all, regional secretary of the party founded by Silvio Berlusconi, who spoke in Olbia during the party's city and provincial congress.
From here he launched his endorsement for the mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi. «This time we can't make a mistake», he continues, addressing the leader of Forza Italia in the Senate, Maurizio Gasparri, present in the room, «we will no longer accept that something or someone is imposed on us by Rome: we need people with their feet in the territory».
The parliamentarian did not need to be asked twice: «Forza Italia is attentive to the territory and therefore also to what is happening in Gallura, where I found Forza Italia growing», said Gasparri on the sidelines of the meeting, «our movement will be a protagonist, from Gallura to Cagliari, in a difficult moment for the Sardinia region, because the mistakes made by the grillini are also leading to a paralysis of the regional administration. We hope that this phase of uncertainty ends, Sardinia needs an efficient regional government. The grillini have shown themselves to be illiterate even on those rules they invoked, forgetting to even present the minimum requirements of the electoral mandate».
