The assignment was announced in November, when Christian Solinas launched the reshuffle of his council. The nomination decree arrived after six months, on May 3: Quirico Sanna (Psd'Az) is the new chief of staff of the president of the Region.
According to the law, he is entitled to «the basic salary and position envisaged for the general managers by the collective labor agreement for regional employees, increased by the accrued salary referred to in point 5.3., letter a) of the decree of the President of the Regional Council 5 December 1986, no. 193 corresponding to 20 years of service, in addition to the Cabinet allowance».
Sanna waited – perhaps for checks on the compatibility of the new position with the previous one, or waiting to clarify the position of who was there before him – but in the end he won the role that had been promised to him when he was forced to step aside for the reorganization of the Sardinian executive.
With him, who takes the place of Maria Grazia Vivarelli (sentenced to two years and eight months in the context of the appointment process in the Region) the Solinas staff should be in full force, with 27 members.
It includes Rossana Abbate, Rita Argiolas, Maria Cabras, Antonella Cuccus, Mario Deriu, Francesco Perra, Carla Scattolini, Anna Rita Siddu and Andrea Prost: all members of the Office of support to the general functions of the Presidency of the Region.
The private secretary is Paolo Luigi Dessì, while the other members of the secretariat are Antonello Carboni, Ferdinando Secchi and Patrizio Melis.
The technical staff is made up of Maurizio Porcelli and Alberto Contu. Then there are the consultants: Gaetano Ledda, Franco Magi, Christian Stevelli, Veronica Vacca, Umberto Oppus and Solange Pes.
Followed by those who are at home at Villa Devoto regardless of fiduciary duties: Giorgio Falconi (Head of ceremonial), Paoletto Cera, Ignazio Lepori and Davide Pinna. Finally the driver: Paolo Boi.
