Former Cagliari sporting director Nereo Bonato embarks on a new adventure at Modena.

Nereo Bonato will be the new sporting director of Modena Calcio, replacing Andrea Catellani, who will assume the role of general manager of the same Emilian club.

Bonato previously worked for Modena in the 2006-07 season. But his career is primarily tied to Sassuolo, where he served as sporting director for eleven years (excluding the Modena stint), contributing to the club's promotion from Serie C2 to Serie A. A 60-year-old from Verona, he has spent the past few seasons at Udinese, Cremonese, and Cagliari. His presentation is tomorrow.
