The Tenores di Neoneli concert, which was scheduled to take place this evening at 6:00 PM at the covered promenade at the Bastione di Saint Remy in Cagliari, has been cancelled due to health reasons.
The event, Omines Ammentos - Antologia, marks the fiftieth anniversary of one of the most representative groups of Sardinian tenore singing, a form of musical expression declared an Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
Active since 1976, their repertoire, however, is not limited to tradition : they have been able to innovate and experiment, collaborating with artists, such as Elio e le Storie Tese, of different genres and bringing the Sardinian language and culture to international contexts.
