Lega B has decided to postpone the return leg of the Salernitana-Sampdoria playout by two days, which will therefore be played on Sunday 22 June instead of Friday 20. The reason is linked to the food poisoning that struck, between Sunday night and yesterday morning, twenty-one members of the Campania team.
The match kick-off time remains unchanged at 20:30. Yesterday, Salernitana had requested a postponement due to the food poisoning that affected a good part of the Campania players returning from the away match in Genoa .
In the first leg, Sampdoria won 2-0. The Blucerchiati are participating in the playouts after Brescia's penalty , which led to the Lombardy team's relegation to Serie C (then not registered in the championship for the 2025-2026 season).
