The Sardinia Region supports the families who, due to the unfavorable economic situation, had requested and obtained the suspension of the installments of the mortgage contracted for the purchase and renovation of the house.

The council, on the proposal of the councilor for public works, Aldo Salaris, has made effective the criteria, methods and terms, already identified with a previous resolution, which concern the coverage of the higher charges incurred for the payment of interest deriving from the suspension of the installments.

"A concrete help for Sardinian families received by the Region to support them in a delicate moment", explained the governor Christian Solinas.

Having obtained the go-ahead from the competent council commission (IV Commission), the executive therefore fully confirmed the contents of the previous resolution, giving effect to the measure.

By intervening in support of the families benefiting from the regional contribution for the purchase and renovation of their first home but who, burdened by the crisis and in particular by the emergency dictated by Covid-19, had requested a move forward in the amortization plan, the Giunta has allowed the Sardinian socio-economic system to be maintained and today, with the regional interest subsidy, it defines the criteria that will allow families to resume the payment of installments with more serenity.
