Cagliari fined after losing 0-1 to Atalanta in Serie A on Saturday. The rossoblù club received a fine of 3,000 euros from the Sports Judge today, because two firecrackers were thrown onto the pitch during the match three days ago.
Cagliari is one of six clubs fined in the last round of the championship , which ended yesterday with Inter's 0-6 victory over Lazio: the others - all for the excesses of their fans - are Fiorentina (10,000 euros), Milan (10,000), Lecce (3,000), Bologna (2,000) and Torino (1,500).
On the footballing front, five are suspended for the next round : Marten de Roon of Atalanta, Mattia De Sciglio of Empoli, Dodô of Fiorentina, Daniel Maldini of Monza and Saúl Coco of Torino.
