The Magnificent 7+7 have reached the final stage of the Fiorenzo Serra Film Festival 2022 , the international ethnographic film competition. They are the finalists identified among the 300 works sent from all over the world for the sixth edition, which has the theme " Earth: human beings and the territory ". The Festival has also programmed a free-themed section, entitled to Antonio Simon Mossa.

All the finalist films will be screened in the afternoons of Thursday 1 and Friday 2 December , from 4 pm, in Room O of Dissuf, the Department of History, Human Sciences and Education in via Zanfarino in Sassari, in two evenings open to the public.

The awards ceremony , presented by the director Antonio Maciocco, will instead be held on Saturday from 4.30pm .

The winner of the medium-feature category of the "Fiorenzo Serra" will receive 2500 euros; for the short film category the prize will be 1000 euros. The best films of the "Mossa" award will receive 1000 euros (medium-long) and 500 (shorts).

The Fiorenzo Serra Film Festival, organized by the Laboratory of Visual Anthropology of the Humanitarian Society-Cineteca Sarda, sponsored by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and in collaboration with the DISSUF of Sassari, in just six editions has collected over two thousand films from all over the world, becoming a point of reference in the global ethnographic cinematographic panorama .
