The Regional Council has started examining the 2022 maneuver worth over nine billion euros. "A good budget with interventions of political character - said the majority speaker Stefano Schirru (Psd'Az) - in any case a quick approval would be desirable, considering that the Region is obliged to spend in twelfths due to the provisional exercise ".

A disappointing budget, according to the minority speaker Cesare Moriconi (Pd), who stigmatized in particular the measures envisaged against depopulation, first and foremost baby bonus.

"Sardinia is in the last places in terms of capacity to absorb European structural and investment funds, for spending capacity - he begins - it is all certified in the judgments of the Court of Auditors and by the results of the positions occupied in the tables of regionalizable resources of the Pnrr". But, in the face of this "dramatic" scenario, "the Giunta puts into play Article 10, the flagship of the maneuver, measures with which President Solinas declared war on atavistic evils such as the depopulation of territories: a small article with which the allocation of a few tens of millions of euros per year is planned, on the basis of the occasional parameter of 3000 inhabitants. Without any analysis, nor the description of a strategy, nor a forecast of the effects of the measures in the short, medium and long term. Nothing, neither in relation to the income conditions of the beneficiaries nor to those of marginality or peripherality of the municipalities to whom the measure is addressed ".

The general discussion will continue tomorrow at 10, while in the evening the passage to the articles is expected. The Budget Committee will meet on Wednesday for an opinion on the amendments, while work should go on until Friday.
