Finance, green light in the Council for the 10 billion maneuver
Almost half of the funds are for healthcare, Meloni: «We give many answers to the Sardinians». Truzzu: «There is no vision»Green light with 31 yes and 20 no to the maneuver of 10 billion euros , the first of this legislature, but four months late. Almost half (4.2 billion) are allocated for health . The Regional Council approved at 11:30 p.m.
A budget with little maneuverable mass (just 300 million) that made it difficult for the parties to reach an agreement for a quick green light. An agreement was reached but it was not enough to satisfy all the requests of the minority regarding health, transportation and education. A budget law, said councilor Giuseppe Meloni , "that gives many answers to the Sardinians, to the productive world, to work, to local authorities, but also on the transport front, to the university, on the damage caused by bluetongue ".
Among the most important measures, the increase of the single fund of local authorities by one hundred million in the three-year period, twenty million to the Provinces for the maintenance of roads and schools, twenty million for the regional fund of universities, 12 million for the damage caused to companies by bluetongue, 12 million for the supplementary agreement of general practitioners, 20 million for the financing of the law on crafts . Also in the law are the 30 million to strengthen the role of the Region in the airport merger process . This last provision has caused much discussion, considering that the center-right asked for the diversion of funds to "real emergencies".
On transport, there is also the allocation of resources for air continuity for the three-year period: 35 million for 2025, 80 for 2026, 80 for 2027 .
"Some of our proposals have been accepted - commented the leader of Fdi Paolo Truzzu - many others have not even been taken into consideration. In general - he added - it is a maneuver that has no strategy, no vision, tries to patch up the problems that exist, chases emergencies , but does not give us an idea of Sardinia for the future"
