From the regional council new measures to combat depopulation.
After the increase of the measure in favor of productive activities in Municipalities under 3 thousand inhabitants - whose resources have passed with the last budget change from 60 to 120 million in the three -year period and to which now, with the stability law , another 40 are added million euros for the year 2025 - the Region - again with the budget just approved in addition - strengthens the amount made available for the purchase of the first home, which goes from 15 to 25 million for those who in 2023 decide to move to a small municipality, also adding another 15 million for 2025.
The resources made available to combat depopulation through the three main lines of action (baby bonuses, subsidies for production activities, first home loans) have all been confirmed, also providing for resources for 2025.
From 2023 the endowment for the birth bonus will also increase given that the contribution is valid for the five years of the child's life, therefore the benefit given to those born in the years previous.
Only in the recently approved Finance Act, a total of 99 million euros have been allocated for the birth bonus, in addition to the 7 million allocated for the year 2022, the requests of which have all been satisfied: to the amount envisaged for the three-year period 22-24 of approximately 60 million then add the 46 million for the 2025 annuity which bring the total sum to 105 million euros up to 2025, which will continue to grow up to 2026 (the baby bonus includes the annuities 2022-23-24-25-26).
aSardinia, with the strengthening of these measures and with the other numerous collateral actions launched since the beginning of the Legislature and aimed at supporting and reinvigorating the most fragile territories, confirms itself as an example at national and international level as an institutional entity committed to combating the desertification of territories and the depopulation of the Municipalities», explains the President of the Region Christian Solinas .
"Sardinia has been affected for years by transformation processes that have repercussions on the most fragile territories, emptied from a demographic point of view and increasingly poor from an economic point of view - explains the Councilor for Planning and Budget, Giuseppe Fasolino - it is to fight these atavistic evils that we have programmed a huge amount of resources by identifying the three most useful lines of action to give new life to the territories».
If around 105 million euros have been allocated for the birth bonus, the endowment for the activities carried out by businesses, self-employed workers and freelancers has grown by 20 million a year, going from 60 to 120 million euros, to which they add another 40 million euros for 2025. Starting from 2023, the measure in favor of production activities will be linked to that of accompaniment of companies (including new ones) which provides, precisely from next year, a contribution in the form of credit tax up to 40% of the taxes paid, with the aim of relieving economic activities from the high costs of taxation. Also in this case the extension is foreseen for 2025 with an addition of resources equal to 40 million euros.
For the purchase or renovation of their first home, families will be able to take advantage of another 10 million for 2023 from yesterday, in addition to the 45 million already allocated for the three-year period and the 15 referring to 2025, raising the total resources to 70 million total (the 10 newly added cannot be used for renovations but only for purchase).
