The appointment with "15 minutes with ..." is back, the in-depth talk on health of the University Hospital of Cagliari in collaboration with the Unione Sarda group. Fibromyalgia will be discussed and viewers will be able to ask questions live, while on Wednesday the readers of L'Unione Sarda will find in-depth information on the “Health” insert of the newspaper.
Guests of the column, conducted by the journalist Fabrizio Meloni, Head of Communication and External Relations of the Aou, will be Professor Alberto Cauli (Director of Rheumatology) and Professor Gabriele Finco (Director of Anesthesia and Intensive Care of the Duilio Casula Polyclinic).
The main pathology of this episode is fibromyalgia, a chronic disease characterized by widespread pain, muscle stiffness, sleep disturbances, chronic fatigue, and reduced mood. It affects almost 2 million Italians and generally occurs between the ages of 25 and 55 and women are more likely to develop the disease than men.
