Festivalguer celebrates its twenty-third edition and confirms its position as one of Alghero's most anticipated Christmas events. Rooted in the community and the urban fabric, the international performing arts festival, conceived by ExPopTeatro with the support of the Regional Department of Tourism, the Alghero Foundation, and the Fondazione di Sardegna, returns from December 6th to 28th with the theme "Stars and Roads," an invitation to experience the city as a place of encounter, creativity, and participation. Thirteen events featuring Italian and international artists will transform the city's squares, gardens, and streets into a mosaic of artistic experiences.

It kicks off on December 6th in Piazza Sulis with Don Quixote by Teatro dei Venti, a street show combining stilts, live music, and theatrical machinery. On December 7th, it's Mission Roosevelt, a surprise traveling performance that will engage artists and audiences on a secret journey through the heart of the city. On December 12th, the Teatro Civico will host mentalist Andrea Redavid with two performances of his captivating show.

The festival continues on December 13th and 14th at the Giardini Manno with WACKY by Emanuela Savi, an installation-performance set in a caravan transformed into a surreal living room. On December 20th, the city center streets will explode with the energy of the Tamarros, a 1970s marching band. The grand finale is December 28th at Forte La Maddalenetta with Turandot delle stelle, a national premiere combining video mapping, live music, and Puccini influences. This year, Festivalguer will once again inhabit Alghero with an inclusive approach, highlighting places, communities, and artistic experimentation.
