The municipal council of Porto Torres has approved the resolution relating to the financial plan and the program of the 2024 edition of the Festha Manna which will be held on 18, 19 and 20 May and 8 June. Among the big names in Italian song, the space set up under the Aragonese Tower will host the artist Noemi, a great show, characterized by the "Notes under the Tower" logo.

Resources of 144 thousand euros are available for the events, covered partly with municipal funds and partly with contributions from the Sardinia Foundation (50 thousand euros) and the regional tourism department (23 thousand euros).

The patronal festival Festha Manna dedicated to the Holy Martyrs Gavino, Proto and Gianuario, is celebrated on 19 May , the day of Pentecost, and is the religious and popular event most attended and felt by the citizens, capable of attracting a large number of faithful and visitors coming from all over Sardinia to participate in the religious functions and celebrations that take place in the city. A celebration in which religious tradition merges with entertainment and music events . Among the most important rites are the pilgrimage on foot which from midnight on Saturday 18 May leaves from the cathedral of San Nicola in Sassari to reach, at the first light of dawn, the basilica of San Gavino where the Pilgrim's Mass is celebrated.

On Sunday 19 May the solemn mass will be held in the small church of Balai Vicino followed, at 7pm, by the procession which reaches the thousand-year-old basilica where the solemn Pontifical will be held presided over by Archbishop Monsignor Gian Franco Saba with the traditional exchange of keys between the mayors of Porto Torres and Sassari, a symbolic rite that represents the communion between the two cities.

The cultural events will begin on Saturday 18 May at 10.30 am, on the Scoglio Lungo beach where the "Fisherman's Regatta" will be held.

From 5pm to 7pm, Piazza Umberto will host a workshop for children organized by the municipal library in collaboration with the Comes cooperative. At 9.30 pm, in the green area around the Aragonese Tower, the concert by the singer Noemi will be held. On Sunday 19 May at 5pm the steps of the small church of Balai Vicino will be the setting for the historical re-enactment in traditional medieval clothes "Il Sogno di Comita". At 9.30pm, the Cumbessias-Atrio Metropoli space will host the folk event "In nome di San Gavino" organized by the Intragnas association and the evening of Canti Sardi “a Chiterra”.

The liturgical celebration will be held on Monday 20 May at 10.30 am in the Basilica of San Gavino and will be broadcast live on television by the broadcaster Videolina. Starting from 12 in Piazza Eroi dell'Onda or other suitable area, the space will be set up to host the "Fish Festival", the much awaited and popular gastronomic event which will offer a large fry of fresh fish until 9.30pm fished locally and which will promote the culinary culture of the area. Saturday 8 June will be the turn of the Palio di Santu Bainzu at 4pm along Via Mare. On the straight in front of the covered promenade, the competing riders and riders will demonstrate their respective skills by traveling at high speed along the 350 meter long strip of sand where the rings to hit on the three different descents will be positioned.
