Fedez returns to talk about his difficult period in which he had to face physical and also mental problems. On "Domenica In", interviewed by Mara Venier, he said with great emotion that he had also thought about extreme gestures from which it was the closeness of his family that saved him.

«I'm 34 years old and I've seen it. My body reacted to invasive things, but if there is the body on one side, there is the mind on the other and this should never be underestimated. We tend to think that it is important for the body to be healthy and we neglect the mind, but often the mind is a more important prerogative", said the artist.

«I found myself having to deal with the possibility of dying, you have to face something big and doing it so early is not healthy for your mind. After the surgery, after treating the disease there were some aftermaths. I had this desire to have indigestion for life, I slept little, I went out all the time, I was bulimic for life... I found myself taking seven types of drugs and I had a hypomanic attack. I put the stability of my family at risk as well as my own stability."

Retracing the period after Sanremo he explained: «I was at the height of my lack of clarity. So it happens that after a few weeks my mouth stops working: I start to have nervous tics and I can hardly speak anymore. So I stop all the antidepressants and drugs I was taking, without taking them off. I had the rebound effect. I couldn't distinguish dreams from reality, cold sweats, disorientation. But the most difficult phase came later when I no longer had any medications and I fell into a deep depression."

He got out of it by being followed by professionals but, he underlined, «it is absurd that it is still a privilege, it must be a right for everyone and not a privilege for a few. Just as the body is cared for, the mind must be cared for."

«If I am still here today – he admitted – it is simply for my family, otherwise the pain is so strong that you even think of extreme gestures to make it end. The thought of causing such great harm to the people you love most is something that stops you."
