In a post from the maternity ward, Federica Pellegrini—next to her husband Matteo Giunta and holding her baby girl in her arms—announced she had become a mother for the second time. "Our little girl was born under a pink moon," added the 37-year-old former swimming champion, already mother to Matilde, two. "I wonder if you understood," she wrote in another post, showing a photo of her baby girl attending one of her latest ultrasounds.

The “Divine One”, European record holder in the 200 and 400 meters freestyle, an Olympic gold and silver medalist, had posted another photo with her husband a few days ago: “The thought has always been that… ‘I don’t know how we’ll do it, but we’ll find a way. ’ Writing ‘the last supper’ sounds bad, but we know that for a few months it will be exactly like that .” A post that had sparked some criticism among her followers: “With the money you earn, you could get a lot of help…”. And again: “How will you manage? Imagine those who work 8 hours a day and don’t have a babysitter, grandparents, or housekeeper…”. But there were also those who defended her: “Why don’t you invest your time better since you can’t stand her (besides systematically not understanding her irony)? Really, I’m curious… and to you, great Fede, a huge good luck!”.
