Everything is ready in Nuoro for the 123rd edition of the Festa del Redentore which from 26 to 29 August will bring folklore, tradition and religious ceremonies to the capital of Barbagia.

It starts on Saturday 26th at 7pm with the parade of Sardinian identity masks. Sunday 27, starting at 10 in viale del Lavoro, the start of the parade of traditional island clothes, an opportunity to immerse yourself in an atmosphere rich in history and culture, a show of colors and sounds: 50 groups in procession with over 2,000 extras, amazons and knights, corps de ballet and choirs.

The morning will end at 13 in the cathedral of Santa Maria della Neve with the blessing of the bishop of Nuoro Antonello Mura. In the evening the regional Folklore Festival at the Quadrivio in the Frogheri stadium, presented by Giuliano Marongiu and Roberto Tangianu.
