At the helm of FdI Sardinia comes the deputy Francesco Mura with a very specific objective: « To bring the party to interpret the leadership role of the coalition that it already has at the national level ». A leadership role that is acquired «with the concomitance of two factors: the one given by the numbers , and this is an objective fact, the other linked to the authority that can be built in dialogue with the allies and in the capacity for action».
Thus the parliamentarian, former regional councilor and former mayor of Nughedu Santa Vittoria, in his first official outing as regional coordinator of Fratelli d'Italia, a role held for the last five years by Senator Antonella Zedda. "We are in a phase of reconstruction of the center-right, close to a new congressional season, we are starting again from the dialogue with our allies to interpret the role of opposition on the Island, and we are doing it to support the work that Giorgia Meloni and the Government are doing at a national level . The political proposal of the center-right is the healthiest, we will demonstrate it without falling into populism".
Mura thanked Antonella Zedda who explained that she had already submitted her resignation in April, therefore after the defeat in the regional elections and before the administrative elections . The senator however pointed out that she would have left the coordination anyway, even after a victory in the regional elections. "In December the party will be twelve years old, I have had the gigantic fortune of leading it for five". At the FdI press conference for the presentation of the new coordinator there were all the councilors, parliamentarians and regional leaders of the party.
