An internal rift within Fasi, the Federation of Sardinian Clubs in Italy, erupted after the controversial Alghero Congress: 27 clubs left the Piacenza Board of Directors, announcing they would appeal to the Court to have the vote annulled.
The "rebels" report serious irregularities: from the failure to vet the delegates to the illegitimate modification of the Statute, to the validation of an election described as chaotic.
They also reported to the Region that the congressional process excluded young people and women and violated all formal procedures. Delegate Cancedda described the climate as "antidemocratic" and described a dialogue that was never welcomed by the executive. Re-elected President Bastianino Mossa rejected all accusations, calling the act a "show" by a minority with internal problems.
Fasi therefore reaffirms the full legitimacy of the Congress, continues its ordinary work and announces the entry of a new club, in Imperia.
