Alessandra Marongiu is the creator tomorrow, Saturday 18 May, and Sunday 19 May, in the “Maria Assunta Pittaluga” dance school, in via Ada Negri in Cagliari , of the event dedicated to the creations of 12 stylists . It is the fifth edition of an event that has carved out a significant space for itself in the field of new trends.
«With this initiative – explains Alessandra Marongiu – the relationship between Sardinia and the other regions of Italy becomes closer and more profitable to create new forms of collaboration between women in the fashion field . Women's businesses have great vitality and interpret the needs of those who then have to wear the clothing or use the accessories that are created in a very original way."
12 niche brands of clothing, bags and jewelery have joined the initiative, an expression of know-how which is the added value of "made in Italy". Sardinia is represented by the company born from Alessandra Marongiu's desire to offer a different future to women marked by the trauma of violence suffered.
«In my business activity – declares Marongiu – I want to offer a job opportunity to women victims of physical and psychological violence who have relied on my legal assistance in recent years . They need to forget the dramatic experiences they have lived with the solid basis of a commitment that helps them face the future."
In the context of the event there will also be armochromia sessions and the presentation of the book "Un giorno gli racconteranno" edited by the psychologist Francesca Basile . All this on Saturday from 11am to 8.30pm and Sunday from 10.30am to 6.30pm.
A fundraiser is planned for the BePositive-Claudia Sun association which offers a support network to cancer patients involved in the treatment and energy recovery process.
