The world of Italian football mourns the death of Vincenzo D'Amico, champion of Italy with Lazio in 1973-74.

The sad news came on his 69th birthday.

Born in Latina in 1954, he was a banner of the Biancoceleste team, the only one he wore, in addition to those of Turin and Ternana.

Attacking midfielder, he played 446 games in his career, scoring 81 goals.

After the end of his career as a footballer he remained in the sports world, also becoming a television commentator.
