Popular sports journalist Elio Corno died at the age of 78 .

A passionate Inter fan, he worked at the Gazzetta dello Sport and was responsible for the sports page of "Il Giornale" for many years. Then came frequent appearances on TV, where he became a well-known face at Processo del lunedì.

Since 2000 he has been a constant presence on many sports talk shows in Lombardy, including "Qui studio a voi stadio" on Telelombardia and "Diretta Stadio" on 7 Gold.

He was also known for his discussions with his colleague and rival Tiziano Crudeli and in the past also with the Roman journalist Franco Melli.
