The world of football in mourning for the death of Sergio Brighenti.

The former striker of Inter, Modena, Padua and Sampdoria was 90 years old.

At the turn of the 80s and 90s he was also the technical guide of the Italian national team , together with Azeglio Vicini.

In addition to winning two league titles with Inter, in '53 and 54 ', he scored 155 goals between Serie A and B.

But Brighenti - born in Modena in 1932 - was also the author of the first made by Italy against England in the temple of Wembley, on May 6, 1959 , with the Azzurri down 2-0.

Still his is the record of goals scored in a season with the Sampdoria shirt (28 goals in the 1960/61 championship) and the record of scoring with the Padova of coach Nereo Rocco (50 goals in three seasons).
