Robert Anthony Boggi, former international race director, died in Salerno. He was 67 years old.

In his career he had played 119 matches in Serie A where he made his debut in 1990 . From 1996 (the year in which he also won the Mauro Prize) to 1999 he had been included in the Fifa lists as an international.

Subsequently, in addition to working as a UEFA observer and in Serie A, he was also Serie C designator.
