Journalist, writer, author of numerous volumes on the history of Alghero. The city gave its last farewell to Enrico Alessandro Valsecchi , who recently passed away.

«The city loses a very fine intellectual who gave so much to Alghero. Enrico Alessandro Valsecchi, thanks to his infinite passion, has studied and written numerous volumes on the territory and the city, the Agrarian Reform, the Alghero Nurra and the history of Fertilia. But for many years his presence has been a point of reference for the cultural world, not only local, as his great legacy will continue to be", comments the mayor Mario Conoci .

«From associations to the world of journalism, Valsecchi marked an era in which study , research and dedication represented priceless values , a true example for the new generations . To his wife and family, the closeness of the municipal council and the entire city, to Enrico an immense thank you for the wealth of knowledge he left in Alghero. A heritage that the city will be able to safeguard and enhance", concludes the mayor.
