Donatella Raffai, the historical Rai presenter of "Who has seen it?" Died in Rome at the age of 78 after a long illness. and of the forerunner "Telefono Giallo" (with Corrado Augias) who since 2000 had retired from the world of television.

This was announced by her husband Sergio Maestranzi, former Rai director, whom she had married after a long cohabitation of over 30 years only a year ago, and two previous marriages: "Ours was a great love, Donatella has always been a generous woman, reserved, who had decided at a certain point to move away from TV and to devote himself to private life, many things were said, there was talk of yellow, but it's all very simple, she had given and had a lot from the public, she wanted to be calm and away from the spotlight ".

THE BEGINNING AND THE SUCCESS - Originally from Marche, daughter of Admiral Antonio Raffai and Maria Jelardi, Raffai began her career at the age of 16 in the world of cinema in the film "Dolci Inganni" by maestro Alberto Lattuada. In the mid-60s the debut in the recording sector for RCA as head of public relations and also image curator of some singers from Mia Martini to a very young Nada, then supporting her in her debut at the 1969 Sanremo Festival. his curriculum is also the debut of Claudio Baglioni, in 1970, alongside which he appeared in the promotional video of "Una favola blu".

In 1971 she landed in Rai where she conducted some radio broadcasts ("You and I", "Radio too", "Chiamate Roma 3131"), then arriving on TV at the end of the eighties as author and host of various broadcasts of journalistic study and news on the third network then directed by Angelo Guglielmi.

His face becomes familiar to viewers with the conduct of "Who has seen it?", Together with Paolo Guzzanti (in the first edition of 1989) and Luigi Di Majo (editions 1989-1990 and 1990-1991), thanks to which he won both the Telegatto and the TV Oscar as female television personality of the year. She returned to "Who has seen" in January 1993, this time alone in the second part of the 1992-1993 season and then in the following 1993-1994 season, the latter, however, not finished (it was in fact replaced in April 1994 by Giovanna Milella).

In January 1995 he landed on Rai 1 to host the late evening talk show “Anni d'infanzia”. Between 1998 and 1999 she was sent in some episodes of "Domenica in".

Her last appearance on TV, however, will be at Mediaset, in 2000, as host of "Giallo 4". From that moment the disappearance from the scene.
