Mourning in show business over the death of Bo Hopkins. The American actor was 80 years old and starred in "American Graffiti", "The Wild Bunch" and "Midnight Escape".
He was born in Greenville, North Carolina, and had chosen acting after his military service following his military draft at age 16.
For him almost always supporting roles but nevertheless memorable, as in the iconic western "The Wild Bunch" by Sam Peckinpah (1969), which then also turned him in the 1972 film "Getaway, the lonely robber" with Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw.
