Two hens born in captivity, Malva and Zuzù, and the revelatory encounter with the owl Bubo Bubo. The comedy "Free Hens" which is staged on Saturday and Sunday (6pm) at the Astra Theater in Sassari talks about freedom and friendship but also about our food choices regarding eggs and respect for the primary rights of animals.

Suitable for children aged 3 to 11 years, the show written and directed by Stefano Chessa with Consuelo Pittalis, Bianca Maria Lay and Margherita Lavosi is included in the 34th edition of "Famiglie a Teatro", the only real season of theater for children in Sardinia, organized by the company La Botte e il Cilindro and supported by the Ministry of Culture.

The costumes designed by Luisella Conti were created by Roberta Amadu, Luisella Conti, Barbara Uleri, Maura Sanna and Veronica Addari, the lighting design is by Paolo Palitta, the set design and sound engineering are by Michele Grandi.
